This event is open to all, and your participation is the most meaningful way to show support. While donations are greatly appreciated, the true value lies in coming together as a community to walk in honor of Teddy and others on their recovery journey.

Schedule of Events:

Arrive early to check in, pick up your commemorative t-shirt, and prepare for a day of connection, remembrance, and healing.

  • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: 5K Walk on Forbidden Drive
Lace up your shoes and join us for a peaceful 5K walk along Forbidden Drive, where we’ll walk in honor of Teddy, those who have lost their lives to substance use disorder, and those currently on their recovery journey. Together, we walk with purpose and hope.

  • 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Teddy’s Birthday Bubble Celebration
We’ll celebrate Teddy’s life with a heartfelt bubble ceremony, remembering him and all the lives lost to substance use disorder. It’s a moment to reflect and honor those who are no longer with us.

After the walk, enjoy live music from Apple Juice Jones, along with food, fellowship, and good company. This part of the event is about joy, healing, and coming together as a community to support one another.

This event is more than a walk – it’s a gathering to raise awareness, honor loved ones, and support the courageous individuals walking the path of recovery every day. The Teddy Kradzinski Foundation is committed to raising awareness about substance use disorder and to supporting those on their recovery journey. We are grateful for your participation and the opportunity to join hands in support of such an important cause.

This event is open to everyone. While donations are always appreciated to support the Foundation’s important work, your participation is truly the heart of this day. Thank you for being part of this special event and for helping us honor Teddy and so many others.

In Memory of Teddy Kradzinski

June 18, 1992 - September 17, 2021

Teddy left his body in the fall of 2021 as a result of a fentanyl overdose. Prior to his passing on, he experienced three challenging but beautiful years of recovery. Those around him saw a shift in how he approached life - with love and flow. Teddy met people where they are with ease. He allowed himself to be vulnerable to create deeper connection with his community and humanity. We are so grateful for him showing us the way and inspiring our foundation's mission.

Teddy, we miss you dearly - your music, yoga, hikes in the woods, comedic wit and most importantly your friendship. May your light shine on.
